Nazeli Clausen BA Econ.

Nazeli’s communication background and experience in the areas of Investor Relations (IR) and Public Relations (PR) is not limited to these critical business functions, but has expanded with each new challenge.

Nazeli has worked as a intern on Human Rights issues for the European Parliament and has managed the Bone Marrow Registry for the Red Cross in Ontario, with particular focus on public relations.

Nazeli has worked for a major water technology company and assisted in promoting their growth and products worldwide and within the Canadian investment community via effective financial communication and media management.

Working initially for a small cap publicly traded company, Nazeli developed many skill sets as the company grew.  She was actively involved in managing the company’s regulatory requirements, such as annual and quarterly reports, the Annual Information Form (AIF), and the Management Proxy Circular in addition to preparing all required press releases.

In her IR role, she managed the corporate Annual General Meeting and any other special events for shareholders and analysts alike.

Nazeli was responsible for building and managing the complete Investor Relations function and as a result of her efforts she and the company were nominated for 4 key awards in 2005 by the Canadian Investor Relations Institute (CIRI).  They placed in the top 3 Canadian mid cap companies in 3 nominated award categories and received the top award for “The Best Investment Community Meetings” which was sponsored by UBS Investment Bank in association with the Globe and Mail.

She has also assisted with a number of corporate equity financings and the sale of a publicly listed company in a nearly $ 800 million CAD transaction.

Her experience spans not only the good times but the difficult growth periods that a corporation experiences from time to time.  Therefore she is uniquely knowledgeable and qualified to advise on a range of IR and PR issues.
